Managing your customers notification settings

To enhance the customer experience and address feedback regarding excessive and redundant notifications, Breadstack Delivery have introduced a new feature that allows stores to customize notification settings for delivery orders.

By default, the Notification is toggle ON with all checkboxes already been selected. 
The delivery status update will be sent to the customer based on setting channels and selected delivery status update steps.
This feature is set to help you in: 
  1. The flexibility in enabling or disabling notifications for delivery orders.
  2. Customizable notification channels (SMS and email).
  3. Control over which delivery status updates trigger notifications.

Instruction on how to adjust the settings

You can adjust whether to have your customers receive updates about their delivery progress through the tab Notify Customers. 

To adjust it, follow these steps: 
  1. Access Settings > Stores and go to the tab Notify Customers
  2. If you want your customers TO STOP receiving notifications, toggle it off. 
  3. If you want your customers to receive the notification:
    1. Toggle on the option.
    2. Tick the box on the type of notification that you want your customer to choose: Through SMS, through Email or Both. 
    3. Tick the box for the update of delivery status that you want your customer to be notified: 
      1. Order received
      2. In transit
      3. Out for delivery
      4. Driver is arriving
      5. Delivered
  4. Click Save Changes once done.

What happen when you disabled customer notification? 

When you decide to toggle off the notification for customers, you will not be able to adjust the Status updates checkboxes. 

As for your customers, they will not be receiving any update notifications from your store.
